FUNA is the Japanese author of Saving 80, 000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement (2023). He began publishing the story on the web platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō in November 2015 and later released it through Kodansha Ranobe Books from June 2017. FUNA is also the creative mind behind other popular isekai series such as Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! and I Shall Survive Using Potions!, all of which received manga or anime adaptations. His writing is known for blending slice-of-life elements with genre storytelling, often featuring resourceful protagonists using clever strategies rather than brute power.
