Discover reliable fire safety with the Kidde Fire Extinguisher for Boats, Single-Use 5-B:C, designed to contain basic fires on watercrafts involving flammable liquids and gases (Class B), and electrical equipment (Class C). The simple & reliable operation is designed to combat fire hazards using the PASS (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep) firefighting method to fight fire from 6 to 8 feet. Constructed from lightweight, durable corrosion-resistant aluminum with stainless-steel lever and fitted with an easy-to-read pressure indicator, the heavy-duty valve assembly is made for years of service. The strap bracket lets you mount the extinguisher in an easily accessible place so it’s always ready for an emergency. The easy-to-pull safety pin gives you quick access. Single use only. Available for use for consumer marine and light commercial boat applications. Dispose & replace if used, discharged, or if the fire extinguisher is over 12 years old. UL Listed. 12-year limited manufacturer’s warranty. Note that the dry chemical agent in this fire extinguisher is non-toxic and won’t damage metal surfaces but may cause skin irritation. Recreational boats over 26 feet may require more than one Kidde fire extinguisher. *Compared to industry saltwater test standards.
