Built with a reinforced stainless steel collar, SharkBite Max valves reduce insertion force by 50% while locking the internal cartridge securely in place. When it’s time for repairs or adjustments, the valve can be easily removed using a SharkBite Disconnect Clip or Disconnect Tongs (sold separately). These fittings are approved for use behind the wall and underground (wrapping required for burial), offering dependable performance in a wide range of residential and commercial systems. Made from durable DZR brass, this ball valve is rated for up to 200°F and 400 PSI and inspected for functionality to 2,000 PSI burst pressure. Backed by a 25-year warranty.
