Install with confidence
If You’re Replacing an Existing Controller
Take a photo of your current controller wiring details to reference when installing the new controller.
Unplug power cord from AC power outlet and disconnect all wires from the controller.
Mount the New Controller
Choose a mounting location within 6′ of an AC power outlet and at least 15′ from major appliances or air conditioners.
Drive a mounting screw into the wall.
Locate keyhole slot on back of controller and hang it securely.
Remove wire bay cover and drive a second screw through the open hole into the wall.
Connect the Valve Wiring
Remove wire bay cover and route all field wires through the rightmost opening at bottom of controller into the wiring compartment.
Connect one wire from each valve to one of the numbered station terminals (1–8) on the controller.
Connect a field common wire to the common terminal (C) on the controller.
